•Kindly note: Every piece of live edge wood is unique in measurements, grains, knots, and how it absorbs mineral oil for food safety and board preservation. Therefore, all boards vary slightly in appearance and will not look exactly the same, but will be beautiful and one of a kind!
Care Instructions
•Wash in warm, soapy water and thoroughly rinse with clean water. Do not soak. To dry, towel dry thoroughly or prop up off of counter to allow all surfaces to air dry evenly. Wood products should never be washed in the dishwasher.
•After drying,rejuvenate and protect the wood by rubbing it down with Sloane's Woodworking Natural Board Butter. Apply the board butter liberally on the front and back of the board with a clean soft dry cloth and allow it to soak in thoroughly for 20 minutes. Wipe it off with a soft dry clean cloth. Regular application of our Board Butter will prevent cracking and preserve the rich natural colours of the wood.
